Civil Supervisor (Logan City)

Find your further with Ventia working within our highly skilled Road Asset Maintenance Contract and supporting other contracts within our Transport sector as Civil Supervisor. This is a fixed term (until 28.2.27) full time position offering great variety in work requiring you to be adaptable and flexible including working at nights on occasion to meet contract requirements. You will lead and manage site-based resources across road and pavement construction projects, ensuring safe, high-quality delivery aligned with client expectations. You will play a vital role in driving performance, fostering a strong safety culture and delivering outcomes that minimise community impact while enhancing sustainability. What’s On Offer

- $175K TFR (includes super) dependent on skillset and experience + tool of trade vehicle + night shift allowance

- Leadership and safety – champion a strong safety culture, conduct toolbox talks, inspections, incident reporting and provide leadership and direction to maintain a high performing workforce
- Project deliver – oversee civil construction activities and ensure timely, quality outcomes, monitor productivity, resource allocation and project costs. Plan and schedule work in line with project programs
- Stakeholder management – liaise closely with client representatives, contractors and stakeholders, maintain delivery targets and engage with traffic management centres and emergency services when required
- Team leadership and development – lead and mentor site teams and leading hands, assess competencies and support training and upskilling initiatives while driving continuous improvement and operation efficiency Required Skills And Experience You are an experienced Civil Supervisor with strong work ethics, leads by example and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Cert IV in Civil Construction (desirable)
- Valid drivers licence and construction white card
- Strong knowledge of traffic management and TMR specification
- Proven leadership, planning and organisational skills
- Proactive, results driven and resilient
