We are seeking an experienced Building Manager to take charge of our Construction Department and operations in Queensland. This leadership role is central to ensuring the efficient delivery of high-quality homes and outstanding service to our clients.

**The Role**: Reporting to the General Manager
- QLD, this autonomous role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and long-term performance of our Construction and Warranty teams. You will lead with a strategic mindset and operational precision, ensuring that all projects meet timelines, quality expectations, safety standards, and budget requirements.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Providing transparent leadership and direction to the QLD Construction and Warranty divisions to drive operational performance and customer satisfaction.
- Developing and executing strategic plans that support business growth and operational efficiency in the Queensland market.
- Monitoring performance metrics and preparing recommendations to optimise project delivery, reduce costs, and enhance client experience.
- Managing team structure, workforce planning, and staff development to ensure capacity aligns with business needs.
- Fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement across all construction and warranty activities.

**About You**

To be successful in this role, you will be an accomplished construction professional with a strong track record in residential building leadership—ideally within Queensland.

**You will demonstrate**:

- Extensive experience in managing large-scale residential construction projects and teams.
- A deep understanding of construction processes, building regulations, and OH&S; compliance.
- Proven ability to lead change, improve operational systems, and enhance team performance.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- A commitment to delivering quality outcomes and an exceptional client experience.
