What You’ll Do: As an independent contractor using CareVicinity, you’ll use our marketplace to match with clients in your local area and provide care services that matter, including:
- Companionship & social support.
- Daily assistance – meal prep, errands, transport.
- Personal care – showering, toileting, mobility (requires additional qualifications).
- Light household duties – cleaning, gardening.
- Nursing – wound care, medication management (requires additional qualifications).
- Allied Health – Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Dietetics (requires additional qualifications). You choose what types of care you offer based on your qualifications and preferences. Who We’re Looking For: People who are empathetic, responsible and dependable, especially those who:
- Are experienced in aged care, disability, mental health, or general support work.
- Are looking to work independently with support from a trusted platform. What You’ll Need:
- The right to work in Australia
- An Australian Business Number (ABN)
- A valid Police Check (within 3 years)
- Two references (character or professional)
- Relevant qualifications if offering personal or nursing care (e.g., Cert III, AHPRA reg)
- Vehicle and comprehensive insurance if offering transport Nice to have:
- First Aid Certificate
- Manual Handling Certificate
