About the Role We are seeking an experienced Drainer/Pipelayer to join our growing team. The role involves working on a variety of civil projects, installing stormwater and sewer drainage systems, reading plans, and working alongside operators and labourers to ensure projects are delivered to a high standard. Key Responsibilities:
- Installation of sewer, stormwater, and water mains
- Reading and interpreting construction plans and drawings
- Setting out lines and levels for pipes
- Operating small plant and hand tools as required
- Working closely with site supervisors and operators to complete works on time and to specification
- Ensuring safety standards and company procedures are followed at all times Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 3 years experience as a drainer or pipelayer in civil construction
- Ability to read and interpret plans and levels
- White Card (Construction Induction) – essential
- Excavator, confined space, and/or pipe laying tickets highly regarded
- Robust commitment to safety and teamwork
