Electrical / production assistant (Loganholme)

About the role We are looking for a full time Technician / Production Assistant to join our team at Heatec' in Loganholme, Queensland. In this varied role, you will provide crucial support to our production and electrical teams, working collaboratively to ensure the smooth and productive running of our manufacturing operations. What you'll be doing
- Assisting with the assembly, testing, and maintenance of our electrical and mechanical equipment
- Providing support to the production team in various manufacturing tasks
- Troubleshooting and resolving minor electrical and mechanical issues
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to your work
- Adhering to all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
- Collaborating with team members to identify and implement process improvements What we're looking for
- Previous experience in a similar electrical or production assistant role, preferably within a manufacturing environment
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in electrical or production assistant positions
- Strong practical and technical skills, with the ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics
- Intermediate proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of work
- Familiarity with workplace health and safety practices
- Trade certificate in electrical qualifications would be an advantage
