MR Driver (Sensitive Freight) (Meadowbrook)

The Client: Our client is an independent, Australian owned company, which provides premium services in national road freight distribution, express and specialised transport and supply chain management. Together we are now looking to recruit a highly motivated, reliable and experienced MR Driver in Meadowbrook QLD. About the role: You will be working in the Specialised division. This division handles sensitive freight requiring white glove service and a high level of care. Start and finish times: Starts can be anywhere from 5am–7am and will vary depending on the day’s requirements. A shift is typically 8–11 hours. Type of work involved: Multi-drop. We usually complete 10–15 jobs per day across Brisbane and the Gold Coast. They also have occasional regional deliveries which may result in an overnight stay, with accommodation and meal allowances provided. Nature of freight being transported: Sensitive freight, with a white glove service approach. This includes anywhere from 2 to 4 people per job depending on weight, sensitivity, and onsite requirements. Some days the driver will work solo, and other days as part of a 2-person team. Employment status: The roles will be ongoing with Jobwire, until sufficient hours/time have been served, after which you will be transferred to clients' books. Truck type: All trucks are automatic, besides one. Ideally, successful candidates will have tail lift and pallet jack experience, however this is not a deal breaker as training will be provided. About the role summary:
- Multi-drop deliveries (10–15 jobs daily across Brisbane & Gold Coast)

- Minimum 1 year MR driving experience
- Must be physically fit and willing to complete manual handling tasks
- Forklift licence preferred but not essential
- Must be willing to assist with loading/unloading when required
- Available for immediate start
- Own transport preferred
- Solid communication skills
- Well-presented, reliable, punctual, and highly motivated
