Receptionist (Meadowbrook)

**Position**: Receptionist

**Location**: 15 Meakin Road, Meadowbrook QLD 4131

**Employment Type**: Initial Casual transitioning to Permanent (Full-Time or Part-Time)

**Hourly Rate**: $32.175-$33.70 per hour (Casual), transitioning to $25.74-$26.96 per hour (Permanent)

**Hours**:

- Full-Time: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-3:30pm
- Part-Time: Monday-Friday, 9am-3pm (available for the right applicant)

**About Us**: K&B; Security Doors and Shutters (K&B;) is a family-owned company with over 25 years of experience, specialising in manufacturing and installing security screens and plantation shutters. Our flagship products, including Supa Shield, Infinity Shutters, and LouvreLock Shutters, lead the market in quality and innovation.

**Role Overview**: As the 1st point of contact for K&B;, you'll answer and redirect phone calls, greet visitors to our showroom, and handle basic administrative tasks. The role requires maintaining a professional, cheerful demeanor even when dealing with frustrated customers.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Answer and redirect incoming phone calls professionally and efficiently
- Greet and assist customers visiting our showroom
- Perform data entry and general administrative tasks as needed
- Maintain a positive, welcoming presence for customers, team members, and visitors

**Requirements**:

- Ability to remain cheerful and professional when dealing with difficult or frustrated customers
- Reliable attendance
- Basic computer competency
- Strong interpersonal skills and natural conversational ability
