Maxima’s Recruitment Services are seeking a Fleet Operations Officer for a position with their Local Government client.

This is a temporary assignment working full-time hours, commencing the middle of February through to the end of April.

**About the Role**

Provide high level customer service in the provision of Plant Allocation, Vehicle and plant break down repairs and enquires.

Your key responsibilities include:

- Liaising with Plant Fleet Services stakeholders on the suitability of requested plant and equipment to perform job requirements and providing expert advice
- Arranging delivery/pickup of Council vehicles/equipment to and from depots for maintenance and servicing purposes as requested
- Creating check and clean requests of hired equipment returned
- Conducting contractor audits ensuring hired plant meets contractual agreements
- Documenting and recording all audit and contractor engagement correspondence in accordance with Logan City Council’s contract management framework.

**About You**
- Proven experience facilitating driver training and induction on a range of vehicles
- Sound mechanical, operating knowledge of major and minor plant items including the ability to interpret relevant manuals
- Demonstrated knowledge of the hire industry would be highly regarded.
