As a part of our continued growth strategy, we are seeking an experienced, trade qualified Mechanical Fitter & Turner / Toolmakerto join our Assembly team.

Your recent role

Full time Fitter / Toolmaker, duties of the role include:

Fits fabricated metal parts into products and assembles metal parts and sub-assemblies to produce machines and equipment.

Checks fabricated and assembled metal parts for accuracy, clearance and fit using precision measuring instruments.

Studies drawings and specifications to determine suitable material, method and sequence of operations and machine settings.

Service, inspection, and reporting

Assembling roll forming machinery

Testing roll forming machinery.

Diagnoses faults and performs operational maintenance of machines, and overhauls and repairs mechanical parts.

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this role, you will need the following:

Mechanical Fitter / Fitter and Turner / Toolmaker trade qualification

Experience in manual machining on mill and lathe

In office maintenance experience

Current Driver’s License

Adhere to WHS policies and procedures.

Must have reliable transport.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Salary: $28.62
- $48.80 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
