The Principal Project Manager provides strategic leadership across Council’s project portfolio in alignment with Council’s key focus areas of Healthy Communities, Liveable Places, Sustainable Environments, Thriving Economy and Good Governance.
As part of the leadership team, the role drives a high‑performing, customer and community focused culture that promotes effective work practices, continuous improvement, employee engagement and a protected working setting.
The Principal Project Manager leads and manages a team of Project Managers, overseeing the planning, development and delivery of multiple projects to ensure outcomes are achieved in accordance with the Cassowary Coast Regional Council Project Management Framework (PMF), organisational priorities, governance requirements, budget expectations and strategic objectives.
