**Position Title**:Boilermaker/Metal Fabricator.

**Reports To**:Project Manager**.**

**Position Requirements**:Trade qualified Boilermaker/metal fabricator (Certificate III or Certificate IV) and at least 3 years of relevant work experience.

**Employment**:Full-time.

**Salary**:$79,040 per annum + superannuation ($8,694.40 per annum for a total of $87,745 per annum including superannuation) and overtime.

**Job Overview**:The successful applicant will work in our factory to fabricate and weld a variety of metal products including handrails, balustrades, and other light structural steel products. The job will also include onsite installations in commercial and domestic work sites.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Ability to interpret design, plans, drawings, and specifications to understand job requirements.
- Ability to fabricate handrails, balustrading, and light structural steel. Material processing and cutting using bandsaw and flame cutting, using hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to weld handrails, balustrading, and light structural steel (according to drawing specifications).
- Ability to use welding processes including MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) and stick weld to Australian standards.
- Carbon steel, aluminium and stainless-steel welding and fabrication.
- Cleaning finished products (grinding and/ polishing) for galvanising, painting or powder coating.
- Ability to work and be part of a small productive team, with can do attitude safety mindset and punctual.

**Other Duties May Also Include**: Various onsite welding and installation.

Managing workshop deliveries.

QA duties.

**This Position requires the following (or must be willing to obtain)**: Current driver’s license.

Forklift licence would be an advantage.

White card would be an added advantage.
