Key duties will include but not be limited to:

- Collaborate with mechanical engineers during the installation and commissioning of water pump systems, ensuring proper setup and functionality
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on water pumps and associated components to maximize performance and lifespan.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, and hydraulic issues within pump systems.
- Provide technical assistance to customers and field engineers, addressing questions and resolving concerns related to water pump operations and efficiency.
- Conduct tests on water pumps to assess performance, efficiency, and reliability, adhering to industry standards and company guidelines.
- Keep accurate records of service activities, including installation reports, maintenance logs, and repair histories.
- Contribute to the improvement of pump designs and components by providing insights based on field experience and performance metrics.

Key Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in working as mechanical engineering Technician or related field
- At least an AQF Diploma / associate degree in engineering or a higher

qualification.
- Robust understanding of engineering principles, construction methods, and safety regulations.
- Strong problem-solving skills to analyse mechanical issues and recommend practical solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Salary

$76,515 per year salary annually exclusive of superannuation. Please note we can only be in touch with shortlisted applicants
