Customer Service Officer (Mackay Regional)

ARC (The Australian Reinforcing Company) , is currently seeking a Customer Service Officer to join our high-performing team. You will work closely with our sales, operations, and leadership teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience. You'll play a critical role in ensuring smooth communication between our internal teams and valued customers—helping to manage day-to-day customer interactions, sales and dispatch processes. Reporting to the Branch Manager and based at our Mackay Branch, you will be joining a company that focuses on career development and actively works on promoting internal candidates and supporting employees on their career journey. What you will be doing:
- Deliver excellent customer service across phone, email, and face-to-face interactions
- Process quotes, sales orders, and customer enquiries efficiently
- Coordinate dispatch, logistics, and deliveries
- Maintain stock levels, receive stock, and merchandise products
- Support sales growth through proactive service and follow-up
- Complete invoicing, reconciliations, and general administration

- Experience in customer service, retail sales, or sales administration
- Background in building, construction, manufacturing, or related industries preferred
