Senior Control Systems Engineer – Mackay We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Control Systems Engineer to join our dynamic and growing team in Mackay. This is a fantastic opportunity to take a leading role in delivering innovative automation solutions across a range of complex and rewarding projects. Key Responsibilities
- Engage directly with clients to define project requirements and develop clear scopes of work
- Lead the design, development, implementation, and commissioning of advanced control system solutions
- Ensure all project deliverables meet high standards of quality, safety, and timeliness
- Provide expert‑level technical support and maintain strong, long‑term client relationships
- Promote and contribute to a culture focused on HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality) Qualifications
- Minimum five years’ experience in control systems engineering within heavy industry or similar environments
- Strong client engagement skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly
- Proven experience with control systems, automation platforms, and industrial communication networks
- Current Australian driver’s licence Preferred Qualifications and Attributes
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Demonstrated experience in programming and commissioning control systems
- Strong leadership, problem‑solving, and communication skills
