Production Supervisor | Hay Point Terminal | Bma (North Mackay)

About the Role BMAs Hay Point Terminal is offering a Production Supervisor position to lead a production team. Reporting to the Superintendent Production, the supervisor will oversee daily production schedules, supervise crew, and ensure safe production in accordance with daily schedules. The role involves a permanent day shift roster (Mon‐Thur) or lifestyle roster. Responsibilities Lead change and develop high‐performing crews. Demonstrate and instill commitment to health, safety, environment responsibility and sustainable development. Supervise execution of the weekly production schedule. Identify and implement improvement initiatives with support from Production Analysis and Improvement. Liaise with pilots, shipping agents and other personnel involved in ship handling and directly supervise onshore activities of vessel arrival and departure. Manage a small team of BMA and contract employees. Supervise minor civil works. Qualifications Experience in the coal industry, preferably in port production (desirable but not essential). Strong understanding of supervisors' risk responsibilities and SHMS, with experience in facilitating risk management investigations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to influence stakeholders, set direction, and gain agreement at all levels. Action‐oriented working style and accountability. Ability to obtain and retain a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC).
