Yard Hand (Maddington)

Are you someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in keeping things moving, and values teamwork? Acu-Tech is looking for a reliable and safety-conscious **Yard Hand** to join our dynamic team!

**What You’ll Be Doing**:

- Safely load and unload trucks, ensuring accuracy and care with every delivery
- Assist customers with collections and conduct stock checks as needed
- Maintain company vehicles and mobile plant (trucks, utes, forklifts) to a high standard
- Perform pre-start inspections, report faults, and follow all safety protocols
- Assist with stock movement, laydown, and repurposing of materials
- Maintain a clean and organized yard through housekeeping and rubbish disposal
- Locate and prepare pipe and other materials upon request
- Ensure smooth handover of stock locations and activities between teams
- Communicate with the team to ensure smooth product flow within the yard

**What We’re Looking For**:

- A team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Experience in a similar role
- handling ugly freight
- Forklift license
- HR License is a plus!
- A commitment to safety and following procedures
- Valuable communication skills and a proactive attitude

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: From $33.13 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 25 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Maddington WA 6109: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Yard hand: 2 years (required)
- Forklift: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)
- HR Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
