Role Description This full-time, on-site role in High Wycombe, WA is for a Structural Steel Project Manager. The Project Manager will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of structural steel projects. Key responsibilities include managing timelines, budgets, and resources; liaising with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders; ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards; and leading teams to deliver successful project outcomes. The role also involves problem-solving, progress reporting, and optimizing project processes. Qualifications
- Manage and lead teams throughout the full project from inception to project handover.
- Develop project plans, realistic programmes and documentation for the efficient management and completion of structural steel projects.
- Manage the project budgets and resources, monitor expenses, and track financial progress throughout the whole construction project lifecycle.
- Issuing and approving of subcontracts, purchase orders and project procurement.
- Lead the Drafting, Installation, Quality and Contracts teams to ensure all personal are working to the same objective for a successful project delivery.
- Liaise and plan with the operations teams for the efficient and timely fabrication.
- Liaise with external stakeholders, clients, subcontractors and relevant personal to ensure projects are completed in compliance with the project specifications, project time frames and budgets.
- Oversee the full project process, ensuring adherence to the specifications, quality standards and safety regulations.
- Identify any potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to avoid delays and cost over runs.
- Prepare project reports, track progress, and maintain accurate records.
- Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure all works meets the require project specifications.
- Prepare regular progress reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Identifying and management of variations.
