Service Manager (City of Kalamunda)

Major Motors is seeking an experienced and motivated Service Manager to lead our busy heavy vehicle service operation based in Forrestfield, Western Australia. This full-time leadership role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Retail & Fleet Workshop and Service Department, ensuring exceptional customer service, strong operational performance, and the highest standards of workmanship and safety. - Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the service department
- Oversee workshop scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of skilled Heavy Vehicle Technicians, Apprentices, Service Advisors and Technical support staff
- Drive workshop productivity, efficiency, and customer satisfaction outcomes
- Develop and implement processes to improve operational performance and workflow
- Monitor financial performance, including P&L; management and KPI targets
- Maintain comprehensive records and provide detailed reporting on service centre performance
- Build solid internal and customer relationships and effectively manage issue resolution
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety procedures and industry standards About You
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Service Manager or senior workshop leadership role
- Strong knowledge of heavy vehicle servicing, repairs, and workshop operations
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving abilities
