Major Motors is seeking an experienced and motivated Service Manager to lead our busy heavy vehicle service operation based in Forrestfield, Western Australia. This full time leadership role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Retail & Fleet Workshop and Service Department, ensuring exceptional customer service, strong operational performance, and the highest standards of workmanship and safety. - Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the service department
- Oversee workshop scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of skilled Heavy Vehicle Technicians, Apprentices, Service Advisors and Technical support staff
- Drive workshop productivity, efficiency, and customer satisfaction outcomes
- Develop and implement processes to improve operational performance and workflow
- Monitor financial performance, including P&L; management and KPI targets
- Maintain comprehensive records and provide detailed reporting on service centre performance
- Build strong internal and customer relationships and effectively manage issue resolution
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety procedures and industry standards About You
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Service Manager or senior workshop leadership role
- Strong knowledge of heavy vehicle servicing, repairs, and workshop operations
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving abilities
