Elston Venues Pty Ltd, located in Surfers Paradise, QLD 4217, is currently seeking a talented and dedicated Full time Chef for the daily operation of our busy kitchen. Responsibilities

· Prepare and cook a variety of dishes following menu and recipes.

· Develop daily specials based on creativity and seasonal ingredients.

· Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in food preparation areas.

· Monitor and maintain food stock levels.

· Conduct food safety checks, including fridge and freezer temperatures.

· Lead, supervise, and train kitchen team members.

· Create and update menus, incorporating recent trends and customer preferences.

· Ensure cost control and maintain budget guidelines.

· Oversee food presentation and ensure consistency across all dishes.

· Assist in developing catering and special event menus.

· Occasionally assist in additional duties as required.

To Be Considered, You Must Have: At least 2 years’ experience as a Chef Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or similar Versatile availability, including weekdays, nights, and weekends

Salary: $77,000 – $87,000 + Superannuation

Working Hours: 38 hours per week

Pay: $77,000.00 – $87,000.00 per year
