Intermediate / Senior Accountant (East Maitland)

About the role Join the growing team at Crest Accounting Pty Ltd as an Intermediate / Senior Accountant. This full-time position is based in East Maitland, NSW. You will play a key role in providing high-quality accounting and taxation services to a diverse client base. What you'll be doing
- Preparing financial statements, tax returns and other accounting documents for clients, including self managed superannuation fund clients
- Assisting with tax planning and compliance activities
- Conducting research and analysis to support strategic decision making
- Providing proactive advice and recommendations to clients
- Collaborating with the broader Crest Accounting team on projects and initiatives
- Mentoring and training junior accounting staff What we're looking for
- Post-qualification experience in public practice or commercial accounting
- Strong technical skills in tax, compliance and financial reporting
- Excellent communication and client relationship management abilities
- Problem-solving skills and a commercial mindset
- Experience supervising and developing junior accounting staff
