Due to continued growth in our Enterprise Risk, Health and Safety group, the opportunity has arisen for an Insurance and Claims Officer to join our highly skilled team on part time basis.

**About the Role**

As an Insurance and Claims Officer, you are responsible for overseeing key insurance functions by coordinating and administering the assessment, processing, stakeholder liaison, and claims management activities of Council’s insurance functions. In addition, the role involves managing the claims process, insurance administration, and ensuring policy renewals include an appropriate coverage for all Council assets and activities.

You will have completed a Certificate IV in Business Administration, or equivalent experience.

You will also have a proven ability to meet work targets, ensure high standards of service to internal and external customers, and show a commitment to continuous improvement in systems and processes. Strong teamwork skills are essential, along with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines. Your experience in resolving complex issues through negotiation, conflict resolution, and influence will be invaluable in this role.
