About the Role We are seeking a passionate and strategic Business Development Manager – Weddings & Social Events to lead the growth of our event business at Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort and Elysia Wellness Retreat . This is your chance to combine sales leadership with hands‑on event delivery in one of Australia’s most picturesque destinations. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth in weddings and social events
- Build and maintain long‑term relationships with clients and partners
- Represent the resort at bridal expos and industry events
- Oversee the planning and delivery of high‑end weddings and social functions
- Collaborate across departments to ensure exceptional event experiences
- Identify opportunities for growth at Elysia Wellness Retreat Qualifications
- 3+ years’ experience in wedding or event sales and management
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
- Proven success in achieving sales targets
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
