Gardener / Greenkeeper Maitland City Council has an exciting opportunity within our Recreation team to help maintain and improve our City appearance. Location: Maitland, New South Wales Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Responsibilities Operate and maintain plant and equipment such as mowers, tractors and whipper snippers to maintain leisure, active and passive open spaces Install and repair irrigation systems Carry out general gardening and greenkeeping duties Maintain grounds, turf and landscaping practices with a strong safety focus Work as a reliable team member within a supportive and growing team Qualifications Certificate III in Horticulture or related discipline with contemporary industry knowledge Demonstrated experience in general gardening, grounds and turf maintenance and landscaping practices Strong safety mindset and positive interpersonal skills MR licence Optional: HR drivers licence and traffic control tickets Benefits Full-time, permanent role working a 38‑hour week, with a base salary range of $63,127 to $70,071 per year, based on demonstrated competencies, plus allowances and 12% super.
