About the opportunity The IT Project Manager leads the end-to-end delivery of technology initiatives that drive real business outcomes across NEX Building Group. Working with business stakeholders and technical teams, the role ensures projects are delivered to agreed scope, schedule, budget and quality standards. More specifically, you will:
- Lead full lifecycle delivery of IT projects from initiation to completion
- Work closely with stakeholders to define scope, requirements and outcomes
- Develop and maintain robust project plans, forecasts, schedules, budgets and reports
- Manage project governance, including steering committees and decision forums
- Proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies and change to delivery outcomes
- Coordinate internal teams and external vendors to achieve timely, high‑quality solutions
- Drive go‑live readiness, cutover, training and operational handover, capturing lessons learned About you You will share a passion for our purpose and be aligned to our core values. In addition, you will demonstrate:
- Experience with end-to-end project management in large organisations – ideally within large national IT function.
- Strong ability to translate business needs into clear technical deliverables and roadmaps
- Demonstrated experience managing budgets, vendors, contracts and procurement processes
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- Solid understanding of project governance, risk management and change control practices
