Our state-of-the-art Perioperative Services are expanding, offering exciting opportunities for experienced and aspiring theatre nurses to grow and thrive in a supportive and cutting-edge workplace.
- 19 modern operating theatres + Hybrid theatre + three endoscopy suites + two cardiac catheter labs
- Exciting Theatre expansion is currently underway with four new operating theatres, a brand new 3 stage recovery and a third Cath lab due to open early 2026
- Advanced technology including Robotic surgery, Brain lab & Stealth navigation
- Exposure to a diverse speciality case mix – Orthopaedics, Urology, Gynaecology, ENT, Plastics, General, Cardiac, Neurosurgery, Paediatrics & more
- Strong focus on education & career development – access to specialty training & leadership pathways offered What the role involves:
- Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary health care team.
- Delivering care to patients to meet Cabrini’s organisational goals.
- Demonstrating attention to the needs of the patient and family to maintain privacy, dignity and confidentiality
- We have a strong commitment to education and ongoing professional development, to support our nurses in delivering excellent patient care within the framework of the Cabrini Mission and Values.
- Our nurses are also encouraged to work in a wide range of speciality areas to broaden their skills and knowledge, which is supported by an experienced onsite education team. Salary range is in accordance with the Cabrini Nurses & Midwives EBA. We're looking for:
- Previous Instrument/circulating experience in any of the following specialities: Orthopaedics, Neurosurgery, urology, gynaecology and general surgery
- Relevant Nursing Qualifications and current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
- Victorian Working with Children Check
- Relevant Post graduate certificate or equivalent in perioperative nursing or critical care (desired not essential)
- Commitment to quality patient care and outcomes What we offer:
