Residential Care Officer (Malvern East)

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities? We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated **Residential Care Officer** to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential care and supervision in a group housing or institutional setting, ensuring the well-being, safety, and development of our residents.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support families and provide education and care for children and disabled individuals in residential care settings
- Assess client needs and develop tailored educational, training, and support programs
- Monitor and report on clients’ progress and well-being
- Assist residents with daily personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and meals
- Provide companionship and emotional support, fostering a protected and nurturing environment
- Liaise with community groups, welfare agencies, and government bodies to promote awareness and access to support services
- Supervise individuals on probation or parole as required
- Assist young people in overcoming social, emotional, and financial challenges
