Administration Assistant
- Anaesthetics & Pain Management Department
Permanent Part Time (22.8 hours per week)

How you will make an impact: We are seeking a suitably skilled Administrator to join the Department of Anaesthesia and Pain Management at Cabrini Malvern hospital. The Administration Assistant will perform a variety of administration and reception duties in a busy environment maintaining excellent communication skills and an ability to problem solve, while ensuring a high standard of service is delivered.
The position is permanent part time, days: Wed, Thurs, Fri from 7:30AM
- 3:36PM. Applicants must be available for these days/times on an ongoing capacity.
Key responsibilities:
- Meet and greet clinical staff, such as consultant anaesthetists, trainees, and medical students.- Perform reception and administrative duties, including minute taking and other documentation as required.- Maintenance/updating Anaesthetic Department rosters and database.- Consult with key stakeholders of Cabrini Health where necessary.- Maintain files accurately and confidentially, attend to photocopying and collation, document distribution, and filing in a timely manner.- Assist in the organisation of events and functions as required.
What you will bring to the role: You will be enthusiastic and self-motivated to produce high-quality administrative support and also have the following:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.- Sound clerical and filing skills and experience.- Good numeracy skills.- Excellent customer service and communication skills with a positive and friendly attitude.- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to be flexible when needed.- Ability to work efficiently, autonomously, and respectfully within the team.- Exceptional attention to detail.
