Vision on Koornang is looking for their next Optical Assistant or Dispenser to join their busy practice in Carnegie.
Hours: Wednesday, Friday Saturday:
negotiable (up to 20hrs a week).
About the Role
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Providing friendly and effective reception services and general practice administration duties
Assisting patients in selecting optical frames tailored to their wants and needs
Ensuring accurate and efficient ordering, receiving, and delivery of glasses and lenses
Maintaining a high level of housekeeping, cleanliness, and presentation in the practice
Listening, following processes, and working both independently and as part of a team
Learning and adapting to new technology and information as introduced
Prospect to participate in learning and development courses to enhance your skills
Skills and Experience
Optical knowledge and experience are essential for the role
Experience with Sunix or Optomate is an advantage
A passion for exceptional customer service and teamwork is essential
Flexibility to work additional hours occasionally to cover team members’ holidays is desirable

Vision on Koornang is a friendly, independent practice in the heart of Koornang Rd, Carnegie. We’ve been serving our community for 36 years and are well-known among locals. Our patients range from children and teens to adults and seniors, and many come to us through word-of-mouth referrals.
Our team consists of two optometrists, a full-time dispenser, and an optical assistant.
Location Perks: Koornang Rd is a vibrant village hub with excellent shops, excellent public transport access, and dedicated staff parking.
