Equipment Assistant
Part Time, ongoing position available (19 hours per week)
Cabrini Malvern
$28-$29 per hour + superannuation

How you will make an impact
As an Equipment Assistant, you will support the Equipment Manager to deliver a safe environment for staff, patients, volunteers and visitors to Cabrini Hospital. You will be responsible for the movement, storage, itemisation and disposal of equipment across our Cabrini sites as well as assist with ward relocations and stock audits. This vital role requires effective communication and cooperation with various wards and departments to ensure Cabrini continues to optimise the safety, care and overall experience of our patients. Position is part time with flexibility preferred to increase hours in busy periods.
What you will bring to the role
While experience in a similar position in a healthcare environment would be advantageous, at a minimum you will require the following:
- Current valid Victorian (or other state) Driver’s licence- Sound knowledge of safe working practices and procedures- Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills with a customer focused approach- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions- Ability to work unsupervised and adhere to time schedules- Motivated and willing to learn new skills and adapt to change- Developed initiative and problem-solving skills with attention to accuracy- Appropriate vaccination requirements
