About Lizard Centre:

For over 20 years the Lizard Centre has been a leader in Applied Behaviour Analysis and early intervention in Australia. We provide high-quality, evidence-based therapy for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental conditions.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Behavioural Therapy Assistant who is available to work with a family in Caulfield: Monday & Wednesday 3pm-5pm (2 sessions per week)

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 therapy to clients in varied settings, including home/clinic/school

Support clients in developing their skills; communication, social interactions and emotional regulation

Collect client data to track progress and identify areas of improvement

Foster a positive setting that encourages client participation

Skills & Experience

Studying or completed a Degree/ Certificate in Psychology, Disability, Education, Occupational Therapy or related field (preferred)

Experience working with children is highly desirable

Solid communication skills, both written and verbal

A passion for helping individuals reach their full potential

Requirements:

Working with Children Check & NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willing to obtain)

NDIS Worker Orientation Module

Australian Driver’s License & Vehicle

Laptop/iPad
- you will be using your own device on shift
