Part Time Surgical Secretary (Malvern)

About us Busy Vascular Surgeon looking for a part-time medical secretary 3-4 days a week (with some flexibility) to job share. Location is Malvern, VIC 3144. Must be able to work Mondays & Wednesdays. Candidate to start ASAP. Qualifications & experience
- MUST have Genie or Gentu software experience
- Billing experience is preferable but not essential
- Experience in surgical rooms is essential
- 2 years of surgical medical secretary experience required
- Typing experience beneficial but not essential
- Australian permanent residency is required for this position Tasks & responsibilities
- Answering the phone
- Dealing with patient queries
- Reception for consulting sessions
- Patient recalls
- Booking patients in for surgery
- Scanning correspondence
- Patient Billing
- Responding to patient emails/faxes
- Downloading radiology imaging results Benefits
