Sports Development Officer - Junior tennis (Caulfield Junction)

The Victorian Tennis Academy [VTA] is looking to appoint a Sports development officer to join our growing team. This person needs to be enthusiastic and a highly motivated skilled who can lead, support and develop our programs, pathways and players. VTA operates out of 4 large venues in Melbourne and has nearly 3500 players participating each week in a range of coaching programs including Hot Shots, Cardio Tennis and competitions. VTA strives to deliver inspiring, inclusive tennis experiences and we are looking for an active, fun and enthusiastic team member to create a great all-inclusive environment. The duties include:
- Overseeing the delivery of all programs in line with VTA guidelines.Coordinating and directing all junior tennis activities.
- Overseeing coaching, training and instructing juniors by analysis performance and developing abilities
- Local school liaison to coordinate recruitment of players, running engaging activities and promotion drives
- Coordinating entries into local, regional sporting competitions
- Running/officiating local competitions for various level players
- Off Court Administration (Player development reporting, planning and execution)
- Following VTA policies and OHS guidelines Candidates should hold a Diploma in a related field plus at least 1 year of experience in a similar role or a total of 3 years in a similar role Pay: $75,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjobau.com/job/3rm6p7
