- permanent full-time position The Role As an English Teacher at Pinjarra SHS, you will join an experienced, energetic and proactive team to develop, review and deliver the English curriculum. You will have the opportunity to apply your expertise in the English Learning Area across Years 7 to 12, utilising your knowledge and teaching experience to support and encourage all students to aspire to continuous growth and progress. We are seeking a teacher who excels in engaging and motivating students through creating secure and inclusive learning environments. The successful applicant should display strong professional knowledge and a repertoire of effective instructional practices to challenge students and enrich learning experiences. The ability to differentiate the curriculum to support individual student progress is important, as is the capacity to form strong relationships with students, colleagues, parents/caregivers and the network of external stakeholders and partners who support the school. Experience or an interest in teaching Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) English will be highly regarded but not essential. Experience or an interest in teaching in a second learning area would also be highly regarded but not essential.
