Mechanical Engineer Murray Engineering are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to contribute to the design and delivery of mining and industrial systems based at our Pinjarra Head Office. About the role:

- Superannuation paid on all hours worked Role duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Design heavy mechanical and structural systems for mining and industrial applications
- Create 3D models and workshop-ready drawings using SolidWorks
- Support engineering analysis and validation, including FEA
- Undertake reverse engineering and retrofit design using 3D scanning technology
- Develop and maintain BOMs and technical manufacturing documentation
- Conduct design reviews, drawing checks, and mark-ups
- Ensure compliance with AS/NZS standards and client requirements
- Support design certification processes and liaise with external certifying engineers
- Apply Safety in Design (SiD) principles across all work
- Contribute to cost-effective design and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate project records, time tracking, and reporting
- Participate in project and team meetings The successful applicant must have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (Essential)
- Background in mining or heavy equipment design or equivalent
- Experience with 3D scanning technologies
- Ability to produce detailed, workshop-ready fabrication drawings
- Understanding of AS/NZS standards and compliance requirements
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Full Australian working rights
- National Police Clearance
