Chef – Full Time (38 Hours Per Week) We are seeking a passionate and experienced Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team on a full-time basis (38 hours per week). The ideal candidate will be creative, organised, and committed to delivering high-quality meals while maintaining excellent kitchen standards. Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Kitchen Leadership: Supervising kitchen operations and coordinating the preparation of meals during busy services.
- Menu Planning: Contribute to the design and costing of seasonal menus, ensuring a balance of quality and profitability.
- Food Preparation: Prepare, season, and cook high-quality dishes, including meats, seafood, and poultry, following established recipes and presentation standards.
- Stock Management: Monitor stock levels, place orders with local suppliers, and ensure minimal food wastage through effective inventory control.
- Food Safety: Maintain strict compliance with Western Australian food safety standards, HACCP regulations, and workplace health and safety (WHS) protocols.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all kitchen equipment is operated safely and maintained in clean, working order. Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Diploma in Hospitality Management
- Experience: At least one year of full-time experience in a high-volume commercial kitchen.
- Skills: Strong technical skills across various cooking methods (grilling, roasting, saucing) and the ability to work under pressure.
