Overview Halls Head College (HHC) is uniquely situated on the island of Halls Head just south of Mandurah. The local intake area of HHC is south, close to the Waroona Shire boundary. The contributory primary schools are Glencoe, Halls Head, Falcon, South Halls Head, and Ocean Road. The college provides a secondary education for students who live in the rapidly growing coastal strip south of Mandurah. Our college offers all students diverse choices, authentic opportunities to develop desirable life skills and a rigorous, caring and safe environment to learn and grow in. Role HHC is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher who can utilise highly effective teaching practices and has a willingness to seek constant improvement in their own practice. The successful applicant should possess excellent interpersonal skills and be student and relationship focused, innovative and motivated, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Additionally, we seek teachers who possess the ability to effectively implement the College's Positive Behaviour Schools (PBS) Behaviour Matrix and Behaviour Management flowchart. Adopting inclusive practices, building positive relationships with students, staff and the community are important components of the role. You should be committed to developing curiosity, innovation, and imagination in every person through inspiring minds and learning for life. An excellent knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum and a capacity to deliver content in an engaging manner to instil our students with a passion for English is highly sought after.
