- Cook delicious, healthy and nutritionally balanced meals using our Nido Menus.
- Purchase food and supplies for the kitchen.
- Ensure dietary and allergy requirements and restrictions for every child are supported by having thorough knowledge of risk minimisation and communication plans.
- Maintain hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen at all times. What You’ll Bring
- Certificate II or III in Commercial Cookery – desirable.
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate – essential before you start!
- Experience working in a childcare or aged care setting.
- Valid WWCC.
- Strong understanding of allergens and dietary requirements.
- Please note: Any candidate employed from 1 April must provide a certificate confirming completion of the Federally mandated ‘National Child Safety Training’ via Geccko, or must be willing to obtain prior to employment.
