About the Role: We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced E&I; Training Coordinator to join our WA Operations team. In this role you will be required to develop, maintain, support and deploy the overall Electrical/Instrumentation (E/I) Training Strategy across all WAO locations. The primary training target audience includes E/I tradespersons, group leaders, engineers and supervisors.

This role complements the overall maintenance and reliability effort in the electrical, instrumentation and control systems areas that are critical for efficient and cost-effective refinery operation.

This position will include training/developing and supporting in the following areas- Low voltage power distribution and equipment- Instrumentation (includes REX Critical Instrument target state)- Control systems (includes Alcoa delivered Quasar 2 training content)- Systems and processes (include training of management teams, supervisors and non-electrical personnel)- Electrical work practices and electrical safety (includes training of non
- electrical personnel)

What you can bring to the role:
- Trade Qualification: current “A” grade Electrical License- Certificate IV in Training and Assessing required- Demonstrated track record and deep commitment to safety and the environment.- Strong maintenance or processing background. Experience working in a refining processing plant or mining/industrial environment.- Demonstrate extensive High Voltage switching experience.- Proven experience in training and knowledge transfer.
