Boilermaker (Wagerup)

Location: South West WA Employment Type: Casual – Dayshift and Nightshift, Monday to Friday, DIDO Company Civmec is an Australian‑owned, integrated, multidisciplinary heavy engineering and construction services provider to the energy, resources, infrastructure, marine and defence sectors. Role Overview Take on a key shutdown role as a Boilermaker supporting major operations in Wagerup, contributing to reliable DIDO crew activities on critical shutdown and maintenance work at two of the region’s most important sites. Responsibilities
- Interpret engineering and detail fabrication drawings, specifications and standards.
- Mark out steel components in accordance with engineering and detail fabrication drawings, specifications and standards.
- Demonstrate solid understanding of current Australian Welding Standards.
- Apply welding techniques including, but not limited to, MMAW, FCAW and Arc air gouging.
- Follow quality control systems and techniques.
- Perform other general duties as required. Qualifications
- Australian Recognised Trade Certificate – Mandatory.
- HRWL EWP – Mandatory.
- Construction White Card.
- Work Safely at Heights certificate (within 2 years of issue).
- Enter and Work in Confined Space certificate (within 2 years of issue).
- Gas Test Atmospheres – Desirable.
- Ability to pass a pre‑employment Medical and regular/random Drug and Alcohol screens.
- Additional tickets highly regarded.
