**About the Role**

We’re seeking an experienced Part-Time Medical Receptionist to join our friendly and professional team.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring our practice runs smoothly — supporting patients, referrers, and our cardiologists in a caring and efficient manner.

This position is ideal for someone with prior experience in medical administration who enjoys working in a specialist environment.

**Key Responsibilities**

Schedule and coordinate appointments using Gentu practice software

Greet and assist patients with registration, billing, and follow-up processes

Manage Medicare and private billing, invoicing, and receipting

Ensure accurate data entry and timely distribution of reports

Support smooth daily clinic operations and uphold a high standard of patient care

Maintain confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations

**About You**

Previous experience as a medical receptionist or medical administrator (GP or specialist practice preferred)

Confident using medical software
- Gentu experience highly regarded

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong organisational skills with attention to detail

Professional, empathetic, and capable of building rapport with patients and clinicians

Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in a team
