Civil Designer / Drafter (Sunshine Coast)

**About the role**: As a Civil Designer / Drafter, you’ll work closely with our pre-contracts team, project managers, and engineers during the pre-contract phase to help develop alternate, practical, cost-effective, and competitive design solutions.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Earthworks Modelling
- Trunk service modelling
- 3d visualisations/renders
- Retaining Wall Calculation
- Clash detection
- Design reviews and alternative design proposals
- Identify and integrate new or improved technologies

**What you will bring**:

- Experience in designing / drafting Civil projects (Ideally experience in Sub-divisions)
- Strong AutoCAD and 12D capability
- Ability to identify risks or issues with design, opportunities and present alternate methodologies or solutions to achieve a greater outcome for the project
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with co-workers, management at all levels, clients and sub-contractors
- Sound numerical ability and attention to detail
- Good organisational skills
