Location

The Ormsby, a 136-bed residential aged care facility located in Buderim.

Responsibilities

Assist the chefs with food prep and engage in a variety of activities such as cooking, re-heating, portioning, preserving of foods. You will also be required to communicate effectively, be reliable, ability to work within a team workplace and be physically able for kitchen duties.

Qualifications

Cert III in Commercial Cookery or possess the knowledge, skills and experience deemed to be equivalent by Bolton Clarke.

Previous experience in commercial catering or other food services, Aged Care or Hospital setting highly desirable.

Demonstrated knowledge of Food Safe Regulations (Aged Care Standards).
