An exciting opportunity exists for a Supervisor Food Services. As a Supervisor Food Services, improving the patient's experience is the focus of your daily tasks, both directly and indirectly. You will take pride in the high quality and nutritional food and beverage service that you and your team provide and coordinate workflow effectively to deliver meals on time to patients. You will enable your team through clear direction and support, providing on the job assistance, feedback and be a role model for others.

Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include:

Coordinate and supervisor scheduled and unscheduled cleaning in accordance with Food Service specifications and procedures ensuring food service staff maintain a clean and safe environment and personal hygiene standards.

Prioritise workloads and organise replacement staff due to short term emergent leave (e.g., sick leave).

Assist food service staff with the preparation, plating and presentation of meals and beverages

Comply with and implement the SCUH Food Safety Program ensuring this is understood and applied by Patient Support Assistants.
