Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineer Sunshine Coast, QLD Role Overview Covey is seeking a Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineer to join our Sunshine Coast team and contribute across two complementary streams of work:
- The ongoing delivery and evolution of our established Safechase racing lure product, and
- The growth of Covey’s mechanical design consultancy capability. While Safechase will form the primary workload in the near term, this role is well suited to an engineer with mechanical design consultancy experience who is comfortable supporting day-to-day product activities while progressively taking on a broader range of consultancy-led mechanical projects. As Covey Mechanical continues to win and deliver new work, this position offers increasing exposure to concept development, design, analysis, and multi-discipline project delivery. This is a practical, hands-on engineering role where technical decisions directly affect safety, reliability, and client outcomes across Australia and New Zealand.
