Medical Receptionist (Sunshine Coast)

Golden Beach Medical Centre is a large, modern and purpose-built practice, striving to deliver excellence in health and clinical care on the Sunshine Coast. We are seeking a bright and friendly medical receptionist to join our practice team. We will provide you:
- On site training to develop your medical administration skills
- Supportive working setting with great team of Admin Staff and Nurses

- Flexibility with hours and availability as needed
- Chance to transition to PT or FT position if desired The successful candidate will be a valued member of our team and have a positive and friendly attitude towards team members and patients. Responsibilities of this role include:
- Welcoming our patients
- Answering telephone calls, assisting with enquiries and scheduling appointments
- Collecting and accurately recording patient details (including scanning documents to patient files)
- Other general administrative duties To be ideal for this role, you will possess:
- A bright and friendly personality
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous experience in a Medical Receptionist role would be advantageous, as would experience using Best Practice (though not essential)
- An ability to work unsupervised (but with direction)
