About The Role

Sunshine Coast Radiology is seeking a full time Medical Receptionist who values teamwork with a high regard for quality patient care to be a valued member of our team, working across our Warana and Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital (SCUPH) practices that offers X-ray, CT, MRI, Interventional, Mammography and Ultrasound Medical Imaging services.

As the first point of contact for our patients, your key responsibilities are:

- First impression of the practice as you meet and greet patients at the front desk
- Cash handling and patient account processing to include Medicare and Health funds
- Liaise with referrers, doctors, patients for delivery of patient medical results

About You

Experience in a front desk environment; ideally in Medical, Health or Radiology (x-ray) practice Excellent presentation, a high level of communication and patient care skills
- a positive attitude is a must! A can-do attitude that builds rapport with patients, staff and Doctors easily Excellent administration, computer skills and data entry
- previous experience with booking programs Integrity, respect and professionalism Medicare knowledge and medical billing would be advantageous
