Hands‑On Finance Business Partner | Contract Opportunity | Contract to 30 July | $72.84/hr + Super Your new company Hays is partnering with a large, values-driven organisation to recruit an experienced Finance Business Partner for a fixed-term contract. Your new role As a Finance Business Partner, you will work closely with senior stakeholders, providing strategic and operational financial support. This is a hands-on role requiring strong analytical capability, clear communication, and the ability to translate financial information into meaningful insights to support decision-making.Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with business leaders to provide financial advice and support
- Budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance reporting
- Variance analysis and identification of key risks and opportunities
- Supporting business cases, project costings, and financial modelling
- Ensuring compliance with financial policies, controls, and governance requirements
- Contributing to continuous improvement of financial processes What you'll need to succeed


- Proven experience in a Finance Business Partner or similar advisory role
- Strong financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting capability
- Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
- High-level communication and reporting skills
- Experience working in a complex or large organisational environment is desirable. What you'll get in return
