About The Position We’re on the hunt for an experienced Dental Assistant to join our vibrant team on a part‑time basis 3 to 4 days a week. In this hands‑on role, you’ll work closely with our dental team and report to the Practice Manager. With a variety of procedures and a collaborative environment, there’s plenty of opportunity to grow your skills and expand your knowledge. Key Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Assist with patient management, including greeting patients, preparing them for procedures, and ensuring their comfort.
- Clinical Support: Prepare and sterilise dental instruments, assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, and maintain a clean and organized treatment area.
- Inventory Management: Monitor dental supplies levels, ensuring the treatment room is well‑stocked and organised.
- Patient Education: Provide patients with post‑operative care instructions and educate them about oral hygiene and preventive care.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with dentists, hygienists, and other staff to ensure a smooth workflow and positive patient experience.
- Compliance: Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols, as well as regulatory requirements in the dental practice. What We Can Offer You

- Prior experience as a Dental Assistant is essential
- A Cert III or IV in Dental Assisting is beneficial
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
