Clinical Coder - Trainee (Sunshine Coast)

**Key Responsibilities include**:

- Contribute to an accurate morbidity data base for the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) using the current edition of International Classification of Diseases 10th revision Australian Modification (ICD-10-AM), Australian Classification of Health Interventions (ACHI) and Australian Coding Standards (ACS).
- Manage workload to achieve various local Health Service and State data and activity reporting deadlines.
- Contribute to the quality of the coding service by taking responsibility for personal development and awareness of updates in coding practice.
- Actively participating in Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) auditing and education programs.
